Polyurethane and polyurea spray elastomers waterproof construction method

In order to guarantee the quality of contruction, the following process can be a reference:
1. clear levelling blanket

Before construction, completely clear the levelling blanket in order to take away the cement dust, oil stain and other foreign matters. Use steel brush and hammer or spray sand to clear away the cement foam, parting agent and firming agent. Use grinding wheel to level the surface. Complement the crack with filler. Use 107 gluewater and mud mixture which contains 20% cement or vinyl acetate and cement mixture to level the concave. The height difference should be not over 2mm. Clear away the dust with high pressure blower, swab or cotton yarn, it affects the quality of spray polyurea elastomers a lot.

2. treatment for special parts
Please ask ILSAN Polyurethane (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. about the treratment for special parts, such as large crack（above 5mm）, rimula （below 5mm） pipeline surrounding, drainpipe surrounding, roofing interlayer waterproof and extrude parts.
3. examine the water ratio of levelling blanket
elastomers should be sprayed on dry levelling blanket, therefore, do not construct until the water ratio of cement ground below 8%.
4. spread coating primer
One component filtering primer rigidifying at normal tempreture is choosed for the concrete base level and coated with hair brush, round brush or in the way of spray.
The function of primer is to cut off the humidity of base level infiltrate upowards, prevent bulge and desquamation of spray elastomers, further reinforce the base level, improve the cohesional strength between spray elastomers and base level, and prevent appearing pinprick or air vent.
5. Spray elastomer

5.1. calculation of elastomer raw material dosage
confirm the dosage and cost of raw material according to the thickness and calculation method that the provider recommended.
5.2. equipment condition
mainframe: America GUSMER Company, H-20/35 series, HV20/35 series，FF-3500，FF-2500 etc.
ejection gun: GX-7 DI，GX-7 400
regulate the pressure and temperature that the provider recommended
5.3. construction condition
try to keep away from humidity, especially in winter, the best construction time is between 10 am. and 4 pm.
5.4. last treatment
Finished spraying elastomers, examine carefully if there is necessary for complement. Meanwhile, spray the edge and special parts.
6. examine construction quality
Construct the protective layer only when the quality inspection organization says the quality of elastomers is up to standard.
7. construct protective layer
Coat protective coating, or do surface treatment with carborundum, or make a rigid protective layer on the elastomers.
8. Points for attention
Smoking, open flame, high temoerature, jointing or electric spark are forbidden when constructing. (especially the windy day)
Note the splash of material when constructing on the roof, overhead and bridge(automobile, window, etc.).
Workers must wear safety helmet and follow the safety rules.
